Rome, October 04 2023 – Fondazione UNA's participation in Futura Expo is renewed, as one of the main Partners of the event. The objective, as it had already been for 2022, is to open a dialogue with the new generations, involving them through a process aimed at stimulating a discussion on the professional opportunities that the world of biodiversity offers and disseminating information on the various figures who, in different ways, deal with sustainability.
In fact, since 2015 UNA Foundation - Man, Nature, Environment – represents a meeting place, exchange of ideas and projects between the hunting world and the environmentalist and scientific-academic one. Among its objectives is to create a new environmental supply chain, with the aim of conserving and safeguarding biodiversity through land protection and management projects.
Aware of the importance of implementing synergistic actions for the development of ideas and projects, over the years Fondazione UNA has established a partnership system with strategic players, such as Federparchi, various Italian universities, or at an international level with IUCN (International Union for Nature Conservation), up to the recent entry into the Mountain Partnership - FAO.
Precisely starting from the experience gained through these collaborations, the objective of the stand with which the Foundation will be present at Futura is to tell, also thanks to various practical activities, what it means to work concretely with a view to preserving biodiversity, returning all the nuances of a commitment which for Fondazione UNA, and for its partners, has translated into a series ofpositive impact projects.
With the support of Federparchi, Federcaccia e of the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, Futura Expo will be the opportunity, once again, to bring it to the attention of the new generations the importance of rational and conscious management of the natural environment.
Each partner will have a dedicated space inside the Fondazione UNA stand, where the most important projects carried out in recent years will be presented and the thousands of visiting students will be provided with an experiential journey to discover some of the biodiversity professions, such as the biologist, the wildlife technician, the park ranger.
Furthermore, the UNA Foundation will host the event on October 10th at 10 am “The protection of Made in Italy agri-food products and the fight against counterfeiting, with a view to traceability, transparency and legality”, which will feature three notable guests: Francesco Greek – Chief Prosecutor, Europe Project Manager, Agromafie Observatory Foundation, Ettore Prandini – National President Coldiretti e Renata Briano – President of the Scientific Committee of Fondazione UNA. During the event, the three guests will investigate the main problems related to agromafia at an international and local level, exploring the projects that associations and companies are implementing to intervene in defense of Made in Italy.
"We are proud to be present at Futura Expo as a Partner, for the second consecutive year. Fondazione UNA was created to be a meeting place between different worlds, for discussion and, above all, for the exchange of projects. Today we are proud to be able to bring to this important event the experience of a sustainable evolution of the hunting world and of the figure of the hunter as a true champion of the territory" he has declared Maurizio Zipponi, president of the UNA Foundation. "It was precisely in this spirit that the perimeter of our presence at the fair was defined: with the aim of involving our members and project partners, we aimed to create a shared space, in which to open up a conversation on the issues of biodiversity which however does not remain only the prerogative of professionals, but should be extended to involve everyone, young students, visitors and exhibitors".
