Guido Guidesi, Paolo Grimoldi e Stephen Borghesi, deputies of the Northern League, presented a question to the Chamber which is addressed to the Minister of the Environment, Gianluca Galletti. Furthermore, the opinion of the Northern League must not be considered an ideological choice, but the observation of the fact that Brussels asks Italy to apply the regulation to conserve habitat and biodiversity.
Guidesi, Grimoldi and Borghesi emphasized the risks of the presence of otters in our territory, in particular the dangers for road traffic and the hydraulic structure, without forgetting the economic damages. The hazards of the nutria should therefore be dealt with differently: Galletti was asked to implement provisions and corrective measures for facilitate and speed up eradication, as expressly requested by the European Commission.
