The Lombardy Regional Council has approved a package of amendments to law 26/93 which introduce some important news. The board has approved all the changes already positively evaluated in theeighth commission. With the amendments to the simplification law some aspects have been changed.
- remove the limit of 55 maximum hunting days per year

- simplify the rules of operation of ATCs to avoid deadlock situations (with the president's vote counting double)
- clarify the concept of hunting residence
- simplify the rules for calculating the distances between sheds and buildings
- extend the period of fox hunting
- insert the ban on carrying out more than two mandates for councilors in alpine areas or in hunting areas to encourage turnover
- clarify the rules onannotation on the card of the culled heads
In the exercise of wild boar hunting in the collective forms of hunt, turn and beat, it will be mandatory for all participants to wear jacket with bib and back in high visibility colors, as well as headgear having the same characteristics. "Fundamental changes relating to the measurement of distances relating to fixed postings, as well as the qualification of" rural "buildings, after the suppression of the relative cadastral categoryand had emptied the regional law of meaning - is the hot comment of Fidc Bergamo President Lorenzo Bertacchi-. The abolition of the 55 days puts us in line with the neighboring regions. It is significant that it is now regional law to provide for the obligation to wear a high-visibility garment in the collective boar hunting: in terms of safety, however, this practice must be promoted for all forms of hunting (with the exception of that from stalking).
