It will definitely discuss the latest decision of the Regional Administrative Court of Sicily. The judges were called to examine the appeal presented by a man against the Prefecture of Agrigento for the failure to renew the hunting license. The no was motivated by the fact that this person's son had been convicted for drug dealing and possession.
The reasons for the appeal include the excess of power due to the incorrect interpretation of the facts, in addition to the lack of investigation and illogicality, given that the conviction was unique and refers to an episode of the 1991. Furthermore, the applicant's son underwent a recovery period to overcome drug addiction. Last, but not least, is that of the end of the coexistence between the two in 2002.
For the Sicilian TAR all these reasons are unfounded. The drug dealing by the son, therefore, would justify the non-renewal of the license and possession of the weapons, since the hunter must ensure his reliability and that of the people with whom he has family and personal relationships. The same son, then, would have maintained relationships with people linked to drug addiction circles, thus nullifying rehabilitation. The appeal was therefore declared inadmissible and rejected.
