La Hunting Federation welcomed with satisfaction the outcome of the council chamber held today at TAR Tuscany, concerning the request for suspension of some parts of the Hunting Calendar of the Tuscany Region, advanced by the animal rights and environmental associations WWF, LIPU, ENPA, Lac, LAV. The judges have in fact rejected the request for suspension with the order of the Sect. II of the Tuscany Regional Administrative Court no. 632/2018 and therefore, the Tuscan Hunting Calendar will fully maintain its effectiveness.
A news awaited by the hunting world and in particular by Federcaccia and the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters who a few days ago were formed ad "opponendum" alongside the Tuscany Region, in defense of the Calendar and the rights of all Tuscan hunters. A concrete contribution that of Federcaccia and CCT, focused on the provision of reports and memories of a technical-scientific nature useful for countering the alleged illegitimacy raised by the animal-environmentalist associations promoting the appeal.
A first victory was scored against those who have long been engaged in the legal battle against the constitutional rights of hunters and in the media and political attack on a legitimate and compatible activity with the safeguarding of the fauna resource. Federcaccia and CCT will continue to work over the next few days and weeks, to defend an approach that for years has made the Tuscan Calendar a balanced provision based on compliance with the scientific indications and conservation reasons of the faunal populations subject to hunting sampling.
