The regional council ofUmbria has decided to approve the new regulation for the management of Territorial Areas of Hunting. The rules in force until now had been introduced in 2008, therefore at a distance of ten years you change. As explained by the regional councilor for hunting, Fernanda Cecchini, the provision is the consequence of the return to the Region of the provincial powers in hunting matters. The Umbrian ATCs (Perugia 1, Perugia 2 and Terni 3) will have to follow the same lines of behavior and the planned management of the hunt will become more effective and efficient.
There will be a single statute to regulate various aspects, without forgetting the use of volunteering, the management committee and the consultation procedures. The latter will involve not only hunters, but also farmers. Obviously, the economic resources will be managed in full compliance with the legislation. Each Territorial Hunting Area will be managed by a composed committee has twenty members: 16 of them will be nominated by environmentalists, farmers and hunters, another by ANCI and three by the Region.
Among other things, the figure of the so-called is expressly provided "Trained hunter", therefore, the ATCs will prepare courses and programs for continuous updating. Now we await the usual publication on the Official Bulletin of the Umbria Region, a fundamental step before the full execution and actual effectiveness of the rules.
