"Management and conservation of the environment and fauna" is the title of the Inter-university Master promoted byUniversity of Parma and for which you can register from early September. The first level Master's course lasts one year and aims to train highly specialized professionals capable of operating at a technical-scientific and managerial level on specific aspects concerning the management and conservation of fauna and the environment.
The proposing Department is that of Chemical Sciences, Life and Environmental Sustainability. The Master aims to train highly specialized professionals able to operate in technical-scientific and managerial level on specific aspects concerning the management and conservation of fauna and the environment.
The main skills provided concern conservation biology, environmental analysis and bio-indicators, management of terrestrial and aquatic fauna, bio-statistics, the use of territorial information systems, techniques for environmental planning and improvement, economics and environmental legislation, the genetics of conservation. A further training objective is to encourage professional updating for civil servants and public administrations private firms who already operate in the field of nature conservation.
