The decision of the Veneto region di suspend the hunt throughout the territory until next November 4th, due to bad weather, it has displaced the hunting world. Particularly, the regional Federcaccia has decided to contact the governor Luca Zaia directly. The latter was loudly asked to review the decision immediately, given that the closure is set to last a whole week.
Flavio Tosi, president of the hunting association, commented on decree published in the last hours which also has to do with fishing throughout the Veneto region. Tosi's stance is clear: "It is true that the forecasts for the weather conditions are negative, but precisely because they are forecasts, we believe it is too hasty and to review the measure taken by the Region". Zaia decreed:
1. to acknowledge that the premises are an integral and substantial part of this provision;
2. to establish, for the reasons set out in the introduction and during the 2018/2019 hunting season, the temporary ban on hunting throughout the region, in the period 29 October 2018 - 4 November 2018;
3. to instruct the Agri-Environment, Hunting and Fishing Directorate for the execution of this deed;
4. to inform that a judicial appeal may be brought against this provision before the Regional Administrative Court within 60 days of knowledge or, alternatively, extraordinary appeal to the Head of State within 120 days;
5. to acknowledge that this provision does not involve expenditure to be borne by the regional budget;
6. to publish this Decree on Official Bulletin of the Veneto Region.
