THE"Talocci" Hunters Protection and Environment Association di Fara in Sabina (province of Rieti) has organized two interesting dog events in the month of April which is about to begin. It's about a dog race on quail and tests for dogs followed by wild boar. The first event scheduled is the race on quail, now in its thirteenth edition. The event is open to all dog hunters: there will be two categories, namely "English" e "Continental", with a registration fee of twenty euros which includes the field service.
The awards will concern the top three in both categories. The first prize will consist of a ham, the second in a loin and the third in a form of pecorino. The other appointment is the fifth Memorial "Massimo Simonetti", in which the wild boar is the protagonist. In the green hills of Sabina, the Dog Training Area will host the tests for individuals and couples.
The prizes are four in both cases, namely the trophy for the first classified, the cup for the second and third and lots of kibble for the quarter. All Italian and foreign subjects who will participate in the competitions will have the obligation to register with the canine registry, without forgetting that the microchip is necessary.
