The conference organized a Corese Pass, fraction of Fara in Sabina (province of Rieti), from Federcaccia of Lazio it was a real success. We are talking about the event where we talked about the importance of scientific research and data collection for manage migratory species correctly. Michele Sorrenti and Daniel Tramontana (FIDC Study Center) illustrated very detailed reports in which the migratory flows of women were highlighted woodcocks, quails, turtledoves, song thrushes, caesene and larks, not forgetting some water birds.
These works made it possible to adequately defend the regional hunting calendars, recovering the hunting periods which had been stolen in a completely ideological way. Charles Hausmann, Councilor for Hunting of the Lazio Region, presented his greetings during the conference, which was also attended by Massimo Buconi, number two of the national Federcaccia, and the highest regional and provincial offices of the hunting association.
The scientific data must be impeccable and clear, so as to facilitate the monitoring of birds in autumn and spring. Fundamental are also the analysis of withdrawals and the use of modern research tools. A strong concept emerged from the appointment, the one just illustrated is the only way to restore the right prestige to the figure of the hunter and protect biodiversity.
