Seasons compared
We report what was published online by Friends of Scolopax: “During the first ten days of December, the goodness of the hunting season continues to be appreciated. The data continues to flow and what is presented here should be considered a snapshot of the state as of today. The comparison with the three previous seasons highlights the significant difference in the first decade of December:
2020-2021 –> 1,85
2021-2022 –> 1,54
2022-2023 –> 1,52″
The appeal to hunters
“The generosity of the presences in many territories of the Peninsula make the days dedicated to hunting certainly satisfying. It also remains clear that a good season corresponds to greater game bags and greater hunting pressure. Unfortunately, the lack of collaboration in terms of data collection is to be regretted and often (as is highlighted on social networks) hunting activity remains dedicated only to collecting and showing the number of prey hunted".
The rest of the season
“A small thing compared to the needs that modern hunting requires, yet it costs nothing. And then perhaps we complain when unwelcome limitations, closures and reduced hunting days arrive. The bad legacy has not yet been disposed of. The season continues and a continuation of great interest is expected. We'll see, good luck in the meantime and continue to use Temporeale" (source: Amici di Scolopax).
