Wild Boar Hunting: Siena, clarifications from the Province on problem areas in response to the request for information from the Hunting Associations.
With reference to the document sent by you regarding the problem areas, given that it is not clear which sources you have learned such news from (since we have not been consulted), and which I hope you have not contributed to feed, in consideration of the their groundlessness, it is important to clarify the following. The problematic areas, identified with a resolution by the Regional Council, currently lack the validation of the ISPRA, therefore the Province does not consider this act to be enforceable. It is also believed that the regional proposals do not create additional advantages with respect to what has already been established by the Province with its own decisions, in particular with the approval of the Regulations for the selection of wild boar hunting - shared with you - which will be the tool identified as complementary. hunting (which will take place in the traditional forms in the permitted periods), without overlapping areas and times and without modifications of the suitable areas.
Therefore no team will lose the assigned territory, on which from the hunting calendar the sampling plans will be carried out with the hunt method. Precisely by virtue of the commitment made by the districts in the territory, where there is a need to intervene in the cultivated areas within the suitable areas, with the sole exception of the owners of the funds if enabled, it will be the ATC to arrange the intervention in hunting of wild boar selection using only the authorized selecontrollers registered in the wild boar hunting districts in which the area falls.
I hope I have clarified your concerns, and I remain available for further clarifications.
Greetings
Serena Signorini
