La Abruzzo region decided to distrust theTerritorial area of Vomano hunting (in Teramo) from continuing the process for the enlargement of areas not suited to the presence of wild boar. The body intervened on the recommendation of the regional office of the association Arch Hunting. We are talking about the regulation for the wildlife-hunting management of ungulates of last May 4th and of the ATC resolution of 28 August 2017.
The Management Committee had communicated the approval of the macro-areas pursuant to regulation 5 of 2014. Il Department of Rural Development and Fisheries Policies of the same Region had already assessed the request for modification as inadmissible. In particular, the Teramo area was formally warned to proceed immediately with the revocation of the resolution and to notify the regional department.
Finally, the Provincial Police was asked to monitor compliance with every decision, reporting any non-compliant behavior to the judicial authority. Just last September 30 the ATC Vomano had announced the assignment of 34 districts (Macroareas C, D and E), without assigning five. In June, however, the Abruzzo Region had been denounced together with the ATC Salinello regarding the containment of wild boars through a complaint to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
