Christian Di Pietro, regional councilor of Molise, returned to talk about the wild boar selection hunting in a post published on Facebook. In particular, Di Pietro recalled how yesterday, Tuesday 13 February 2018, they were sent to the Territorial Hunting Areas 1 (Campobasso), 2 (Termoli) and 3 (Isernia) communications concerning this hunting activity.
On 11 April the Region approved the relative regulation and the local authority itself takes care of the functions of coordination and control. The regional resolution has in fact authorized the training courses, so activation was requested from the Molise ATCs themselves. Di Pietro, however, recalled the difficulties and resistances encountered in this regulatory path.
Despite the obstacles, a discipline of selection hunting for wild boar has been reached with the aim of minimizing the increasing damage to local agricultural productions. The same goes for road accidents that occur precisely due to the presence of wild animals. The start of the courses is up to the Territorial Areas, the regional councilor feels with a clear conscience for the hunting commitments that have been completed (approval of the wildlife-hunting plan primarily).
