As announced on his Facebook profile by Christian Di Pietro, regional councilor of Molise, yesterday, Wednesday 15 November 2017, the Second Council Commission. Unfortunately, the justifications and abstentions resulted in the lack of a quorum and the Commission itself did not have the opportunity to express its opinion on the selection hunting.
This was the change to be made to the Regional Law number 19 of 1993 (“Rules for the protection of homeothermic wildlife and for hunting”). Salvatore Micone, president of the Second Commission, has decided to call a new session for November 20, therefore in four days. As Di Pietro pointed out, in case of no opinion, again due to the lack of a quorum or the will of the members, the regional councilor will contact the governor of the Molise Region directly, Paolo Di Laura Fracture.
Di Pietro intends to register in the courtroom the bill that was not dismissed within the terms by the competent commission. This possibility is foreseen by article 42 of the Regional Statute. The goal is therefore to approve a very important act for the Molise area, which has to deal with a heavy setback: among other things, Di Pietro stressed that the reasons have nothing to do with the interest of citizens, but only with thepolitical filibuster.
