Hunting: Liguria, with its own ordinance, the Council of State recognized the validity of the Ligurian Hunting Calendar. Councilor Briano satisfied, Bruzzone's bitterness for lost time.
The Council of State, with its ordinance number 4683/2013, recognized the validity of the Liguria Region Hunting Calendar approved with Council Resolution n.11 of 7 May 2013 excluding the water rail from huntable species (material error already recognized by the Region itself) and establishing the legitimacy of the additional days for stalking hunting for species that make up more than 90% of the animals : Wood pigeon, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Redwing Thrush and Cesena. In the shortest possible time, the communication to the bodies responsible for the resumption of the hunting activity and its modalities will arrive from the regional offices. The happy news was given by the Regional Councilor for Hunting, Renata Briano, in a note with which she expressed great satisfaction with the result obtained and wished to extend a heartfelt thanks to the regional offices for their professionalism and competence: " Sorry to just find that animal rights activists through their strategies we have closed for many days an activity declared legitimate on the merits both by the TAR and by the State Council. This shows that theirs was a political action against hunting and not a real battle over content and environmental protection. It also demonstrates that our decision not to submit to the blackmail of the recurrent associations to remove the additional days from all species has been successful. " Finally, according to the ordinance of the Council of State, it is possible to restore the use of lead ammunition for hunting ungulates.
The same satisfaction expressed by the leader of the Lega Nord group in the Regional Council of Liguria, Francesco Bruzzone, who with evident bitterness thus commented on the decision of the Council of State, “Good to the Council of State. We have unjustly lost the most important part of the Hunting Season, now pay the damage and never again do such a thing ".
