An increasingly complex issue
The thorny question concerning the approval of the new Integrated Plan prepared by theMigliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Park Authority, is enlivening the debate between the various stakeholders, local administrations and hunters. Our association immediately put itself at the head of a battle destined to evolve further in the coming days. Our goal is to represent with the strength of the arguments the firm opposition to any hypothesis of unjustified extension of the boundaries of the current Park and the consequent ban on carrying out hunting in the territories concerned that would result from it.
Need for clarity
The work carried out in recent days and the open discussion with the various administrators concerned has highlighted the need to clarify the proposal elaborated by the Park, and the decisive role that the municipalities concerned and the trade associations will be able to exercise in the continuation of the participatory process, as required by law. The recent meeting with the Mayor of Pisa dott. Michele Conti, as the maximum representative of the Community of the Park and the results of the comparison already developed with the Municipality of Massarosa in last week's assembly, have allowed us to be able to represent our positions, albeit in the absence of indispensable cognitive elements, not represented to date by the technicians of the Park Authority, starting from what in their opinion should be the new envisaged perimeter, on the future expansion of the protected area.
Lack of answers
Still on this theme, our interested sections on the Pisan side (Municipal sections of Pisa and Marina di Pisa) have organized for next Thursday 26 January, a Public Assembly open to all hunters to be held at the "Il Fortino" Club. in Via della Sirenetta, 6 Marina di Pisa at 21. An important initiative that promises to be strongly participated in which the Mayors of the municipalities of Pisa, S.Giuliano Terme and Vecchiano as well as the President of the Park have also been invited. For the occasion, the Provincial President Fidc UCT of Pisa Avv. Alfonso Papa and the Regional President Marco Salvadori will participate. At the same time, we will return to urge the meeting with the President of the Park Dr. Lorenzo Bani, as, to date, we have not yet received an affirmative response from him to our previous request on the need for a formal discussion on the subject (source: FIDC).
