Making a prediction on the strength and duration of the current government majority is certainly difficult. What is certain is that the recent result emerged from the polls, certifies a change of axis between Lega and Cinquestelle, on which the first political implications are being produced. Despite the truce of these hours, aimed at parrying the shots of Europe and dealing with the dramatic consequences of a deficit infringement procedure with the imaginable consequences for the country's economy and the pockets of citizens, the climate appears to be anything but serene. The tragic situation ofILVA of Taranto, the productive decentralization of many small and medium-sized enterprises, the announced "ax" on cuts to health for the Regions, are certainly not trifles.
The continuous tug-of-war on construction sites e last but not least the TAV, are the emblem of a change of course that is not currently possible to evaluate in its full extent. For the opposition, the government crisis is upon us and the gigantic knots to be solved will not allow for postponements or tactics. In a word, we are certainly in a convulsive situation and strong political instability. Despite this, in the aftermath of the sensational defeat of the M5S, the"apparatus" animalism continues to work and to produce continuous pitfalls. We thought that the citizens had expressed a grave judgment towards those who had made fundamentalist animalism the flag to fly. Apparently the lesson did not help; indeed, the facts demonstrate precisely the opposite will.
To mask some inevitable concessions on the government program, some are already thinking of sending precise signals to their electorate on specific issues and on high battles as a symbol of a pseudo political culture. The news that has been circulating for a few weeks about the intentions of the Minister Costa on the preparation of a law decree "protect animals" centered on the ban on the use of animals in all events, it represents in a plastic way the desire to continue on the path of confrontation and a strong opposition to rural culture and the safeguarding of traditions. In symbiosis with the Minister of Cultural Heritage Benisoli (M5S), it is thought to use the vehicle of the Delegation Law for the reorganization of the subject matter of the show, to strike a new blow. The legislative process is very complex; but we certainly cannot let our guard down!
According to some rumors, the new decree in the pipeline would contain not only the ban on the use of animals in circuses, but also prohibitions and strong limitations on any event that sees the possibility of using or exhibiting animals. Wildlife exhibitions, bird fairs, exhibitions and more could be definitively outlawed. In Tuscany we have an infinite heritage to defend and protect. Net of everything concerning the agricultural and livestock sector which moves huge economic resources, even in the hunting field, there are hundreds of events and activities that keep our culture, our roots and our traditions alive.
Just take a look at the program of the Federation of Tuscan Ornithological Fairs Associations (FAFTO), to discover the quantity and quality of events that bring together centenary fairs with thousands of visitors and admirers who would suddenly be the first victims of a biased provision and dubious legitimacy. The CCT has long argued that our world must increasingly "make a system" by uniting to counter an aggressive and dangerous phenomenon. Specifically, given the start of the legislative process, we will have to set ourselves the goal of countering and stopping this decree. Immediately, starting from the Tuscan reality, we will commit ourselves to the extent of our competence, to establish a transverse forehead to claim this unfortunate proposal and any further attempt at a similar sign on the parties and on the Tuscan representatives in parliament.
