Gardone Val Trompia, 31 July 2016 - The last stage of the 2016 Beretta Excellence National Championship. The almost 4.000 total participations testify to the appreciation of the Italian shooting world for the proposed formula.
The competition circuit of Fossa Olimpica, this year in its third edition, has consecrated the best shooters of the 2016 season who in five months have been engaged on the 21 best fields of the peninsula with the constant support of Pietro Beretta Arms Factory and the patronage of the Italian Shooting Federation.
After six stages and 300 targets, with continuous changes of leader in the category and qualification rankings, the last 100 targets of the three days in Rimini were decisive for decreeing the 2016 Champions.

- Sergio Doctor - Beretta Excellence Master National Champion
- Bruno Saattoli - Beretta Excellence Veterans National Champion
- Federico Caporuscio - Beretta Excellence Lady National Champion
- Rachel Amighetti - Italian National Youth Sector Champion
La Beretta DT11 Cup, introduced in the 2015 edition, a race in the race between the winners of the individual stages, which gives the dream of becoming part of the Beretta Shooting Team with an annual contract, it was won by Alessia Iezzi for the Unified Categories Exc. and First and by Salvatore Grillo for the Second and Third Categories. Sunday evening at the end of the race, the athletes' awards ceremony was a great moment of celebration, which Beretta wanted to dedicate to all the protagonists and to those who made the exciting circuit possible.

Beretta wanted to entitle this third edition of the circuit to the new series of over-and-under shooting BLACK EDITION to celebrate the successes of the shotgun that it is offering so much satisfaction to champions from all over the world and of all disciplines, but introducing innovations capable of revolutionizing the world of shooting, such as carbon fiber which has always been used in the world of racing but which is introduced on a shotgun for the first time by Beretta.
