ARCI Caccia Veneto, report of a beautiful day for hunting; the "States General" 1st stage to bring hunting to Europe, the new season of Italian hunting began on 7 February.
Break any delay to irreversibly bring the method of "confrontation" into the identity and permanent lifestyle of the Italian Hunting Associations. Being part of rurality is essential - and to be built in everyday life - by choosing the strategy of relations with society as complex as it is represented. Whoever isolates himself is a loser, i hunters Italians have already experienced it. We must put Italian farmers - an active part in protecting the environment, our woods, the countryside - in a position to recognize ourselves as useful for the enhancement of rural landscapes and to contribute to producing profit for those who work in the countryside. Even hunters must change in order to be accepted as necessary and irreplaceable for the protection of natural environments, also in the interest of future generations. Now is the time to change even in Veneto after the isolation of hunting activity, caused by the policies of the Region in previous legislatures for corporate and demagogic choices, supported by a part of the "screaming" associations that marginalized the Venetian hunters in the eyes of the country.
With the "States General of the Hunt" promoted by ARCI Caccia, thanks to the appreciations encountered, there is the concrete hope of opening a season of dialogue to broaden the consensus around hunting. This is the extreme synthesis of the contents that characterized the report by Giuliano Ezzelini Storti, Regional President of Veneto and coordinator of the ARCI Caccia of the Northern Regions, to the large audience of enthusiastic participants. The protagonists of the turning point in progress are the courageous organizers of the ARCI Caccia del Veneto who, not yielding yesterday to the sirens of the hunting announcements, revealed in all their negativity, today, after that past on the front line, allow the conditions for an effective collaboration with regional institutions to have rules less attackable by animal rights appeals. Thanks also to them it is possible to hope to have more positive relations with the other categories interested in hunting wildlife management. And the National Vice President, Sergio Sorrentino, brought support and appreciation from the southern regions to these managers.
Present representatives of the Northern League, the Democratic Party, the regional hunting associations despite the bad weather which instead prevented the presence of guests representing other categories. The Assembly recognized the positive news as reported in his speech by Councilor Daniele Stival, listened to by all in the awareness that he had to recover the limits of previous management inspired by propaganda and the instigation of "perpetual conflict".
Greetings at the conference were received from the Vice President of the hunting commission of the Veneto Region Graziano Azzalin and also from the MEP Mara Bizzotto who wished for the success, and the willingness to carry on the battles in defense of our territories, combining different interests put together at the Conference. Also present in the room was the senator from Vicenza, Stefani Erika. On the merits, there was agreement in the interventions of the Deputy Parent Company in the PD Stefano Fracasso Region who invited the majority in the Region to resolve the contradictions and bring the Regional Wildlife Plan to the classroom and that of the Honorable De Menech (faunist and deputy) who assured his commitment in Parliament to support the process of "confrontation", the only credible tool for relaunching knowledge of the value of hunting.
Emblematic of the new advances was the intervention of Maurizio Zipponi on behalf of Beretta (and CNCN), a company that exports 95 percent of its sporting weapons to Northern Europe, the USA, South Africa, where the conflict between the world of hunting, that of environmentalists and agriculture is an anomaly and the hunting practice is part of a new Environmental Chain. And so friends would like it to happen in Italy too. At the next Vicentina hunting fair on Sunday 15 February the projects under study with Universities and Federparchi will be presented, as elaborated in a year of collaboration at the Table with the ARCI Caccia, the FIdC, the AnuuMigratoristi, the Veterinary Associations, Legambiente and others who will be at the Vicenza Fair.
Strong and clear the calls of the regional President of the ANLC and of the CRAV Mariano Trevisan to march quickly for the unitary Confederation of Hunting Associations with the ambition to speak to all hunters, even if unambiguous, the contents of the intervention of the Regional Vice President of the FIDC Giancarlo Bonavigo: unity of associations, openness to the environmentalism of reason, recognition of the decisive role in the management of agricultural enterprises, ATC and CA to measure the good governance of the territory and a lot, a lot of regulatory certainty at all institutional levels that today is not there. is. Gaspari of the Anuu of Vicenza has pushed for Stival to bring home the PFRV to which his Association, together with all those of CRAVN, has contributed to improve.
Harmonious and in unison the final interventions of the National President Osvaldo Veneziano and the President of ARCI Caccia del Veneto, Giuliano Ezzelini Storti who asked the political forces to approve the New Regional Wildlife Plan before the end of the Legislature and asked Stival to be spokesperson for a message to the Government and the Regions: “let's go and negotiate in Europe with a single Italian voice and let's do it immediately”.
Ezzelini, dedicating the initiative to the late Ferruccio Carnielli, founder of ARCI Caccia, challenged all the hunting associations but also the entrepreneurs of the sector, the farmers and those who want to win without competition to manage the territory, to fascinate young people, to overcome the ghettoization, to get involved, to overcome "qualunquismi", to make "a whole grass a bundle", to find the things that unite us, instead of looking at the particularities that divide us to choose, without nostalgia, the future of hunting recalling the famous Vicenza Mario Rigoni Stern: "hunting is ... .. Freedom, sun, space, storms", a beautiful poem. The next appointment with Europe will be at the Vicenza Fair on February 15th: to continue winning and building the “hunt for the new millennium”.
