Arci Caccia CSAA: Naples, environmental surveillance plan defined to prevent forest fires in the territories of the Gulf Islands.
The summer season is commonly associated with sun, happiness, carefree, well-deserved holidays. Unfortunately in Italy the chronicles tell us of entire territories devastated by fires for responsibilities that are often to be attributed to the criminal hand of unscrupulous men. "Nature and the environment must be respected and protected because if there is not a just and concrete protection of habitats, flora and fauna there can be no future": this is Emilio Galano, president and head of the special sworn guards. voluntary hunting of the Arci Hunting Islands of the Gulf of Naples.
On the initiative of the association, which has always been sensitive to compliance with the laws, good governance of the territory and sustainable hunting, an environmental surveillance plan was defined on the Gulf Islands to prevent forest fires. The Plan, starting from 5 July, will be able to count on the collaboration of the volunteer hunting guards posted on the Island of Ischia and coordinated by the team leader, Salvatore Sarpa, and on the environmental volunteers-observers who have given their availability.
There will be surveillance shifts and 24-hour patrols both on the territory of the Island of Ischia and on the islands of Capri and Procida. “The intent - underlines Emilio Galano - is to discourage those who have no respect for the environment and cause real disasters with illegal attitudes. We will be alongside the carabinieri, police, forestry corps to prevent and report arsonists ”. Arci Caccia reminds us that the law provides for arsonists to be arrested in flagrant crime and a penalty of up to ten years in prison. Arci Caccia is also ready to appear as a civil party.
