The presentation of the bill that explores the creation of the park inside the Sinnai Pinewood (the so-called "Campidano Forest"), in the province of Cagliari, has been enriched with a new debate. On this last occasion the hunters wanted clarification from Marco Efisio Pisanu, number one of the Hunting, Fishing and Environment association. In particular, the hunting world is concerned about the possible limitations that could be imposed on hunting.
The signatory of the regulatory text, Cesare Moriconi, explained what will happen. In the park there is a state-owned area in which the ban on hunting is already in force confined by the fire barrier. The hunters will be free to act instead in all the places where it is already admitted. The mayors of the municipalities involved (specifically it is Settimo, Dolianova and Soleminis) will still have the opportunity to control the territories and plan the various necessary interventions.
According to Moriconi, this park will not be a simple place to go protect the environment, but a project aimed at enhancing natural resources and territorial heritage. In particular, great attention will be paid to typical products, food and wine, culture and sport. Last month the park received the final favorable opinion also from the regional councilor for the environment, Donatella Spanu.
