Best wishes are the facts! As previously announced, this morning the complaint was presented - complaint against the recent episodes of defamation and offenses against hunters by some animal rights groups. Following the decisions taken within the presidency of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, the Regional President of the Federcaccia Toscana Marco Salvadori, proceeded to formalize at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Florence, the complaint - lawsuit relating to the insulting sentences expressed on the web following the death of a sixty-year-old hunter in massarosa in the province of Lucca.
The hunter who died of an illness during a hunting trip, had been the object of defamatory phrases and expressions of jubilation on the Facebook social network by some commenters, identified through the screenshots of their posts saved in the immediacy of the facts. Sentences and comments of an absolute gravity that from now on will be subject to evaluation by the magistrates. Another exhibit presented, also detailed and accompanied by video footage, concerns a recent public event held in Cascina (PI) in loc. San Sisto al Pino. In the same, some demonstrators and exponents of the environmentalist world antagonist to hunting, uttered offensive and defamatory phrases and slogans of the honor and dignity of those who practice hunting and beyond.
"Cowards, cowards"; “Hunters, breeders, butchers, fishermen, one face a breed …… ..of shit”; "Good hunter only the dead one"; these are just some of the unspeakable phrases and slogans reverberated and shouted by some demonstrators. Now, the word passes to justice and to the subjects responsible for guaranteeing the honorability of citizens who carry out a passion in compliance with the law and with an unlawful criminal record. A due act, as much as necessary, was therefore carried out for the defense of dignity and the fairness of all hunters. In these pre - holidays, our commitment continues unabated to defend hunting and hunters from those who want to tarnish their image.
A work that is also accompanied by legislative proposals, which in recent months we have produced and presented to the Tuscany Region for the reform of the Regional Law on Hunting, approved last week by the Regional Council. Legislative reform, defense of the Hunting Calendar, with the success achieved in terms of harvesting the woodcock and legal battle against defamers, represent the best way to wish all Tuscan and Italian hunters a happy new year. A new year that brings as a gift the unity of the hunting world that remains on main objective of the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters. Uniting the hunters, reconstructing a perspective for hunting useful for society and the environment, walking with a straight back confident in our quality and our history, are the distinctive characteristics of a community that comes from afar and will go far. Happy New Year to all!
