Federcaccia Umbra organizes the first “Renzo Loreti” memorial, a hunting dogphilia trophy structured in three hunting trials on released game, without killing; Spoleto, Terzo San Severo and Mucciafora di Poggiodomo (PG).
One day, or rather three, all together in the open air, many enthusiasts and their four-legged friends to remember a special person by celebrating one of his passions. The Spoleto section of the Federcaccia Umbra presents the first edition of the “Renzo Loreti” Memorial, a hunting canine trophy structured in three hunting trials on game introduced, without killing, for the purpose of restocking. The first stop of the Memorial is set for next Sunday, June 5st, on the pheasants released in the San Silvestro area, in Spoleto. Registrations are open to all pointing and hunting dogs, with no limit of auxiliaries for each participant. For each category - English, continental, spaniel - prizes will be awarded for the best three of the heats, while only pointing dogs will enter the general classification valid for the assignment of the Memorial. The appointment with all the dog lovers is at XNUMX in the morning at the Pavone bar, at the north entrance of Spoleto.
The organizers inform that for each auxiliary, if desired, a second registration is allowed for each test. Each stage will take place in single shifts, lasting 10 minutes each, unless otherwise decided by the judge. The use of the beeper is allowed only in "still" mode and, if it is considered appropriate, it is possible to "tie up" one's auxiliary while stationary and then proceed with the approach and fledging of the game.
The other two races scheduled are Sunday 22 June in Terzo San Severo, on red partridges, and Sunday 29 June in Mucciafora (Poggiodomo), on partridges. At the end of the third round, the best classified in the English category will go to the barrage against the peer in the continental category to win the Trophy. The registration fee is 15 euros for each auxiliary presented. So far the formula of the Memorial, with its rules and its obligations: what counts, of course, is the spirit with which the competitors, expected by the dozen and dozen, will live these three days of celebration under the banner of the repopulation of some of the the most beautiful rural areas of Spoletino and its surroundings, will be able to enjoy the aesthetics offered by the stills of hunting dogs and have breakfast all together with sausages and wine - the organization offers - on the occasion of each test. With the hope, perhaps, of going home with some nice prizes.
Good luck to all!
