Two weeks ago the Court of Lecco accepted the appeal of a shed operator after the Lombard province had contested the failure to sign on the hunting card of the day. This is an important precedent that must be taken into account. The man was a guest of another hunter in the fixed post and was therefore a mere observer. That day, therefore, he did not pursue the activity and did not even have guns.
The Lombardy regional section of the Federcaccia decided to defend it after the first order in order to obtain a useful sentence for all hunters. The same Region had pointed out some time ago that there is the option of the hunter-observer, as long as there are no weapons in his name. The law prohibits access to the shed if the guest is in possession of the rifle, otherwise he is free to enter.
When the shed was checked, there was no verification of the weapons, in particular their heading: another forgetfulness was that relating to theascertaining who had actually fired. Federcaccia Lombardia itself has now invited to transmit a copy of this sentence to the Regional Territorial Offices (UTR) and to the Provincial Police commands, given that similar reports have been issued for a month against various hunters.
