A highly positive picture
The second weekend of Winter Regional Championships gives us a positive picture of volleyball passion in Italy. In the 20 competitions organized in eleven Regions, 1.763 shooters from the Olympic Pit, Universal Pit, Skeet and Compak Sporting specialties competed.
The boom in Lombardy
The highest number of presences was recorded in Lombardy. In the five competitions scheduled by the Regional Delegate Daniele Ghelfi, two for the Fossa Universale and two for the Compak, 312 shooters showed up on the platform. There was also an excellent participation in the two Fossa Olimpica competitions organized by the Regional Delegate Arnaldo Sacchetti, which brought 264 specialists to the stage.
The case of Emilia Romagna
The right tribute also goes to the Emilia-Romagna shooters of the Regional Delegate Demetrio Pillon. In fact, 208 competed in the only Fossa Olimpica competition scheduled for the weekend (source: FITAV).
