Our great politicians, with i five-starred, instead of dealing with the health, economic and social tragedy in which we are immersed up to our necks, they are busily preparing the gallows for hunters citizens. And the worst thing is that the preparation for this execution is taking place in deafening silence from many politicians - not all, fortunately - who, at least in words, say they are close to our world.
This real "death sentence" does not take into account the fact that the category of hunters citizens is periodically supercontrolled; which has always given great examples of active participation in social life, environmental monitoring and the fight against forest fires; who was at the forefront of civil sensitivity and solidarity (as in the case of the large donations at the time of the first wave of the pandemic); and that it has undergone the unjustified restrictions imposed as a result of the various Prime Ministerial Decree. If anyone thought that the tone of my speech is exaggerated, they should go and read the bill that is currently in the Senate Justice Commission and that, with the anti-hunt hatred which distinguishes the followers of Grillo and Casaleggio, supported by the animal rights groups and by the politicians linked to them, will soon have the honor of the Chamber.
I remember briefly what is boiling in the pot.
-) Stratospheric increase in sanctions (administrative and criminal) provided for in the field of animal abuse.
-) Tightening of the already strict rules governing the use of collars with the prohibition of putting them on sale and with the obligation to return those already held.
By the way, think that the request for has already appeared also prohibit the doorbell, the use of which would represent a real mistreatment for dogs forced to wear it. But so far, all in all, the path of confrontation and political mediation could be feasible, also because many of the mistreatments and abuses envisaged by the bill they are a thousand light years away from our millenary rural and hunting culture. Instead, the sharp blade of the guillotine is subtly "hidden" at the very end of the text of the bill, where the repeal of art. 842: "The owner of a real estate cannot prevent entry for hunting purposes, unless the real estate is closed [articles 841, 1064 cc] in the manner established by the hunting law or there are existing crops susceptible to damage [art. 923 cc].
In other words, by repealing art. 842, THE END OF THE HUNT GOES AWAY. Of that popular hunting, not linked to land ownership, and free from the inevitable taxes that would be imposed by every owner even of absolutely uncultivated and unproductive land. Of course, the rule of art. 842 was introduced for ideological, propaganda and functional reasons for the war, but nevertheless represents a great popular conquest and a social boast for Italy. Before it's too late, all politicians who say they care about the fate of hunters now have the opportunity to make their voices and ours heard to avoid that, where more than twenty referendums have failed, the will of those who hate hunting succeed, certainly not for technical or scientific reasons, but only for a fundamentalist and short-sighted ideology towards a correct global management of the natural environment and agriculture. But also the hunters, ALL HUNTERS, must feel mobilized and committed to soliciting the free political forces and not subservient to the anti-hunt ideology, to keep their guard up, adopting every democratic initiative capable of averting this death sentence of hunting (Paul Sparvoli, President of ANLC).
