THENational Free Hunting Association has released a note to tell the outcome of the third edition of the "Hunter's Feast" which took place in Ceglie (province of Brindisi) last March 6. The event was organized by provincial secretariat and took place at the "Tre Trulli" hotel in the Apulian city. The balance was more than positive, with a very large presence that went beyond all expectations, given that the quota of 250 has been exceeded as regards the participants. Among others there were also Paolo Sparvoli, number one of Libera Caccia, Michele Lisi, regional president of the association, Michele Basile, provincial president of Brindisi, Michele Bufano, provincial president of Taranto, Mario Alemanno, provincial president of Lecce, and many still other characters, such as the mayor of Ceglie Messapica, Luigi Caroli.
The participation of the senator was also very welcome Peter Iurlaro. From 9:30 to 12:30 we talked exclusively about hunting, with interventions relating above all to the early closure of the hunting season and to the resolution of the Council of Ministers last January. Many doubts were raised, then an interesting and unpublished project was examined by the Libera Caccia delegation of Brindisi which has as its title "The Puglia Region informs the Hunter".
The main objective is to find a good synergy on hunting, a stimulus for the Region, called to pay more attention to the issue and to seek new links with hunting associations, hunting communities and those of citizens. Each subject would thus have available information on hunting evolutions almost in real time, without wasting time. The intervention of President Sparvoli relied on the appeals of Liguria and Tuscany, with the related regional administrative courts that challenged the measures. At 12 the book "The fantastic stories of Cerrate" by Angelo Nicoli: the author, technical hunter, poet and narrator, was able to create a volume that everyone can read.
The program then continued with the awarding of various hunters. In particular, Professor Michele Basile, already mentioned president of Libera Caccia Puglia, received a commemorative plaque for the commitment and dedication lavished in the association. There was no lack of good food, like any self-respecting party, and the same goes for the music, the dances, the draws and the cutting of the cake., the final moment of the appointment. The fourth edition will be staged in 2017 and is already ambitiously aiming to exceed the 250 participants this year.
