From 4 to 7 August 2017 the Park of the Spinola Castle in Campo Ligure (province of Genoa) will host the twentieth edition of the Wild Boar Festival, a highly anticipated event in this part of Liguria. The appointment was organized by Italian Red Cross. It will be possible to taste the traditional meat dishes of the ungulate, including polenta, wild boar ravioli, stew, stew with artichokes and sausage, even if there will be many other goodies.
The opening of the restaurant will take place at 19:30 pm and on Sunday 6 August only, the dishes will also be prepared for lunch, with opening at 12:30. Among other things, it can be an opportunity to visit what is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The gastronomic pride of Campo Ligure is undoubtedly there review, a focaccia that is prepared with soft wheat flour and corn flour.
È different from the classic Genoese focaccia and is characterized by the yellow color, the taste of corn and the absence in some cases of olive oil. The Wild Boar Festival will take place, as usually happens, in conjunction with the Celtic music festival "CampoFestival", organized by the Municipality.
