The meeting organized in the headquarters of Marche region and which involved the governor Luca Ceriscioli, the councilor for hunting Moreno Pieroni and agricultural associations had the merit of unlocking the situation relating to wild boars. CIA, Confagricoltura and Fedagri Marche took stock of the damage caused by wild animals to crops and precisely following this meeting there will no longer be the event initially organized for next 27 March.
President and regional councilor have accepted the requests of the sector and now there will be an immediate realization, without forgetting the other tools to be implemented in compliance with the law. Right in the day today, Thursday March 22 2018, the control plan for wild boar in the Marche region will be presented, to be shared with the Territorial Areas of Hunting and trade associations. The Region reaffirmed its willingness to share the actions to be carried out, in order to respond concretely to the problem.
The self-defense procedure will be simplified, while in just under a week the single regulation for compensation for damage from wildlife will be examined. Finally, ISPRA will soon have to provide its opinion on the calendar of the selection hunting for ungulates, another step that will concretize the longed-for resolution of the emergency.
