As disclosed by the Regional Federcaccia of Sardinia, the Council of State with order number 4897 two days ago, Friday 5 October 2018, rejected the appeal proposed by the same hunting association, Union of Hunters of Sardinia, Sardinian Hunting, Free Hunting and the Region for the cancellation of the precautionary order number 275 of 2018 which suspended the hunting for Sardinian partridge and Sardinian hare in the two half days (30 September and 7 October 2018 until 14pm).
The text of the pronouncement reads as follows: "The final observation contained in the aforementioned burdened ordinance and according to which, while taking into account the discretionary powers that the Region has in this matter, in the specific case in question, the verification of the intrinsic coherence of the contested provision with respect to the cognitive data acquired in the procedure leads to the belief, even in this first precautionary phase, subsisting the defects alleged by the applicant associations. The reason is valid and the order itself deserves confirmation, with the precautionary appeal that must be rejected".
