Federcaccia Sardinia issued the following press release. We defended the same even in the capacity of appeal despite knowing that the collegial order would have given us wrong, given the meaning and the affirmations of the monochrome one, but the worst happened at the meeting on 10 October of the Fauna Committee, when the Department took sides against us by claiming an unbelievable causal and that is an elusive, unspecified to our question, negative opinion of the Legal Department, which certainly influenced the subsequent vote. We, according to the last Ispra opinion, we asked for a day to the partridge and the hare or a half day, which also served as a test for a database on sampling, supported by colleagues from other associations.
Ispra opinion registered on 4 October and that we have been able to see the day of the meeting. An opinion that has nothing equivocal but has a critical part and a final suggestion for the use of half a day with partridge and hare. We appreciate once again the behavior of the University of Sassari, which abstained in an important vote for the principle rather than for the substance. The provinces present went in tow of the Department.
At this point all that remains is to wait for the political conclusion of the legislature, which can renew a system that for two years has deprived us of the hunt for the noble sedentary, albeit reduced to a minimum, given that the political inefficiency in the application of the Sardinian law. We conclude by reminding the Department, but only pro forma, that the Committee has a dual function, deliberative for the hunting calendaro and consultative for everything else, the latter function never used.
