La boars each other constantly holds the bench in the Umbrian hunting world, also this year with the start of the hunting season the usual problems re-emerge, in particular the question of registration fees of the teams. Given that we immediately challenged this regulation, starting with the assignment of sectors, from single-handed hunting, through to the payment of damages by the teams, Arch Hunting he has reiterated it since its approval which among other things has been legitimized in a public assembly by about 1500 hunters, this incident is for those with a short memory.
The criticalities were evident right from the start, so much so that the region had to run for cover in the first year by postponing the application in some parts by one year. Now that we have reached the heart of the matter, yet another uproar has broken out this time against the ATCs, in fact also disavowing the work of some representatives of the Hunting Associations, in particular those who today accuse the Arci Caccia of being the protector of ATC and to be against hunters. We have entered a dead end, because in the face of the rulings of the TAR first and then the Council of State, there is little to do, the ATC and the representatives of the Associations have taken note of it and have applied the regulations issued by the Region.
But what nobody says that since December 2015 the Region has allocated to the management of hunting and territory on planned hunting only 67% against 100% of the revenues deriving from the regional concession tax, funds for other purposes finalized by law 157/92 and intended for the management of fauna and the environment, including damage from wildlife. I'm not going to play this very low-level game, everyone takes their responsibilities without placing the blame on the ATCs, nor on Arci Caccia. Many lie knowing they are lying, finding alternative solutions or shortcuts to the problems, which in the years in which they have held offices as provincial administrators and regional councilors they have helped to create. A complete revision of the regulation is needed 34, for years now we have been carrying out this battle by reiterating the concept that the regulation must only indicate methods and times and places of hunting, for the management we need something else, we need a concrete action plan that uses hunters as an end and not just as a means of consent, we wrote the draft regulation agreed between four hunting associations and also shared with the committee of wild boar hunting teams, the draft sent to the Region last year has not yet had a moment of discussion, so much so that the rumors say that it lies there as it has a marked Arci Caccia imprint.
Even the agricultural world is not free from guilt, we worked a whole year with some agricultural associations, on a document on the management of wildlife conflicts, only that at the time of the signatures they disappeared. Let's go towards the meat supply chain, think of a model from which resources and benefits can derive for all, within a path of transparency and legality, also because already the regulation n.5 of 2010, provides that the animals killed during the containment interventions, therefore those outside the hunting period, had to be sold for consideration to constitute the fund for the compensation of damages, if this had it been done how many resources would we have in hand today? Here too there are responsibilities that weigh today. By turning to wild boar hunters, we no longer make the same mistakes as in past years, let's sit at a table taking everyone a step back, putting aside personalities and selfishness, a frank and serene confrontation to arrive at valid solutions, which respond to the needs of the agricultural world and the hunting world,
