The Northern League group asks the regional council with a resolution first signed by Massimiliano Pompignoli, president of the 1st Commission - Budget, inviting Bonaccini to reintroduce the transfer among the huntable species in order to limit the damage to crops and wild flora. "The Regional Law of 15 February 1994, n.8 (Provisions for the protection of wild fauna and for the exercise of hunting activities) - explains Pompignoli - governs the management, protection and achievement and maintenance of the faunal and ecological balance throughout the regional territory and regulates the planned hunting collection. To this end, the Emilia Romagna Region, in concert with the Provinces, coordinates the planning of wildlife management activities, exercises control of sampling in the territorial areas in which hunting is allowed and draws up the so-called regional hunting calendar which makes framing the drafting of the individual provincial hunting calendars ".

“With respect to the prescriptions contained in the calendar - he attacks - we have received multiple observations and complaints that certify the climate of dispute with respect to a highly restrictive regulatory framework and incapable of acknowledging the requests made by the hunters from Emilia Romagna. For example, the need to reintroduce the starling species on the calendar has emerged with insistence, also on the basis of the favorable orientation expressed by Ispra, and the severe damage to agricultural crops and orchards that this species causes throughout the territory. regional". "In addition - continues the president of the Budget Commission -, starting from the 2008/2009 season there was an irreversible collapse of the Emilia Romagna hunters determined by many factors including the dizzying cost of the license - about 500 euros - which is added to that for registration in each ATC ".
