La Regional Federcaccia of Piedmont announced the dissemination of the draft of the hunting calendar 2018-2019 by the Region. The hunting associations and all interested parties will have time until the next one 10st May to submit their comments and corrections. The pre-opening hunt, exclusively from a temporary stakeout, will start on 2, 3 and 6 September 2018 as for the turtledove.
black crows, gray crows, magpies and jays, on the other hand, the days will be different, namely 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 27 September. From 24 September to 9 December, the common hare, the minilepre and the wild rabbit will be hunted, unlike red partridge and gray partridge, whose hunting period will run from 1st October to 30th November. For pheasants, the period from 24 September to 30 November must be respected, without forgetting quail and turtledove (from 1st to 31st October). The list continues with mallards, gallinelle and teals (1 October-20 January), woodcock (1 October-31 December), song thrush, redwing and cesena thrush (October 1 - January 10) and the fox (October 1 to January 31).
Finally, it should be remembered that in hunting farms where the daily hunting pressure is low and where the hunter is supported by the qualified personnel from the company, there will be a specific time frame for the male deer. Hunting for this ungulate will be allowed from 2 September 2018 to 31 January 2019.
