In the session of 9 July 2018, the Regional Council approved Resolution 767 relating to Hunting Calendar 2018-2019, later published on the official website of the The Tuscan Regional Authority. The provision in its definitive text does not differ from the proposal at the time presented by Councilor Remaschi. As regards the conduct of the pre-opening, as every year, it will be a specific resolution to decree the times, species and methods.
To underline, like the approved Calendar substantially reflects the layout of those of previous years, and that the Regional Council has maintained a firm approach that has now consolidated in our Region. Furthermore, again with respect to the proposal presented to the hunting world during the consultation, the request suggested by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters to maintain compliance with the three-month period of time for hunting wild boar as required by the National Law 157/92; leaving the discretion for the choice of dates of opening and closing to the territorial realities.
Particularly negative note to be highlighted in the new text, the choice to bring a total of 50 animals instead of 100, the maximum seasonal game bag for the species lark. Another aspect to always be highlighted in negative is the date of the dog training scheduled for Thursday 23 August, when the national law determines the opening date of the tests on the 3rd Sunday of August.
