Their number, compared to previous years, has also decreased this year as in previous years. Perhaps due to unfavorable climatic conditions or due to the observance of precautionary anti-covid behaviors o the connotation of the hunting activity due to a generational target of over XNUMX, the preference for hunting ungulates (starting from October) to the detriment of hares and pheasants are elements that have dramatically reduced the audience of hunters continuing a declining trend that has been going on for about a decade.
The regular performance of the activity was monitored by 30 agents and 40 voluntary security guards who worked with over 30 vehicles. In total they were carried out 281 checks and no incidents were recorded. There were no accidents during the day, nor were there any particular inconveniences other than those complained by farmers with regard to parked cars on their property without permission (Journal of Bologna).
