We publish a letter from the Sardinia Regional President of CPA Sport, Marco Efisio Pisanu, about the hunters' event held on January 4th against the changes to the Hunting Calendar.
I think it is right to thank all those who joined the protest day of January 4, 2012 in Cagliari; first of all who was present, then who supported us not being able to be present for work reasons.
I would also like to appeal to all the people who have disinterested in it for a thousand reasons or for pure resignation, I hope they understand that to obtain results, everyone's contribution is necessary, and that protesting lawfully is a duty, as well as a right.
Having made this brief premise, I would like to share with readers the topics covered during the meeting with Councilor Oppi, where Piero Cossa, Emanuele Farnetti and a Digos manager were present in addition to myself.
The first to speak was the undersigned, pointing out that the Department had been rude to say the least not to grant a room to be able to carry out the press conference, as it is a public building built with taxpayers' money, therefore usable also to a representation of the thousands of people represented by us, and who claimed their rights (Art. 21 of the constitution).
Then it was the turn of Piero Cossa (gunsmith), who on behalf of the category illustrated the economic damage to which their commercial activities were going against following the modification of the hunting calendar.
Emanuele Farnetti finally illustrated the documents that allow other Italian regions to carry out hunting activities until February 10, all without breaking the law or facing sanctions.
After extensive discussion, we asked why we Sardinian hunters were penalized compared to our colleagues in the peninsula, and why the leaders of the region, instead of applying the regulations in full, only acknowledged the constraints.
This question was not followed by a satisfactory answer and given that the sensations have no "right to report" we preferred to say goodbye by announcing that to reacquire what was stolen from us we would have taken the legal path.
To avoid being biased and to respect the "right of the press" mentioned above, the commissioner proposed a meeting with the officials, an invitation immediately accepted, which if confirmed will open a real debate between our legal representatives and the officials themselves. .
Before concluding I would like to say a few words towards the ass. Hunting present in CFR The undersigned, as already stated on the occasion of the event, confirms that for the sake of hunting he is still willing to undertake a united struggle; first, however, it is necessary to have clarifications regarding the declaration issued by Councilor Giorgio Oppi on Sardegna Oggi of 5 January: "It should be noted that a coherent expression of negative vote in the Committee was not expressed by the representatives of the hunting associations that are members of the Committee himself, who instead assumed the comfortable position of abstention from voting, putting at risk the possibility of reaching January 19th.
The only proposal for modification and integration of the calendar, made with criteria that would safeguard the hunting calendar from further observations and appeals, was made after the requests addressed to the members of the associations present fell on deaf ears. In light of the decision of the Council of State, it was not possible to legitimately authorize the hunting activity after January 19 and in the month of February ".
I conclude by thanking you again and affirming that one of the fundamental elements for winning battles and wars is that linked to information; those who fight must know what is happening around them, so you will be duly informed of the developments of the story.
I owed you so much!
Marco Efisio Pisanu
