Arci Caccia Sicilia is one of the Hunting Associations that attended a meeting with the President of the III Commission for Productive Activities at the Sicily Region Assembly to talk about the Hunting Wildlife Plan and the Hunting Calendar.
Today the Sicilian Hunting Associations have been convened by the President of the III Commission for Productive Activities at ARS, Hon. Avv. Salvino Caputo, regarding a bill, of parliamentary initiative, which extends the Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan for one year.
The meeting was attended by the President Hon. Caputo, the Ass. To the Agricultural and Food Recourses Hon. Francesco Aiello, the member of the III Commission Hon. Beninati, some officials of the Agricultural and Food Resources Department and the Regional Presidents of the Venatorire Associations: Francesco D'Elia President of ARCI CACCIA, Francesco Lo Cascio President of 'ASCN, Giuseppe Evola President of ENAL Caccia, Dr. Agostino Gatto representing the FIDC, Francesco Mistretta President of the FSDC, Avv. Nunziatello Anastasi, our legal advisor, who represented the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies association.
At the meeting, after the introduction by the President Hon. Caputo, all the presidents and representatives of the Hunting Association present took part, and all reiterated that the ARS must make a rule that allows the Proposed Hunting Wildlife Plan to be applied in this way. as it is and that it leaves out any cunning that would make us incur in a possible rejection of the Government Commissioner, as happened a few months ago.
In addition, the associations, taking advantage of the presence of the Hon. Aiello, Agricultural and Food Resources Association, talked about the Hunting Calendar, reiterating that the proposal that some Hunting Associations run among hunters, would expose us to gripes by environmentalists, who would certainly make us cancel the CV from the TAR. The Ass. Francesco Aiello reiterated that our proposals are coherent and reiterated that the government he represents will undertake to present a government bill that will take into account our indications.
As for the issues on the Hunting Wildlife Plan and CV 2012/2013, these will be addressed in a separate meeting at the Ass. Agricultural and Food Resources. Eventually the Hon. Beninati, reiterates that a blockade of the hunting activity would cause a considerable damage to the Region; about eleven million euros would not be paid by Sicilian hunters, and the induced activity that revolves around this activity would be heavily penalized.
Urges the Hon. Aiello to make a summary of all the bills presented in the commission and ensure that a bill is approved that allows Sicilian hunters to go hunting in absolute tranquility. In the end, President Salvino Caputo thanked all those present for their active contribution, stating that he will do everything possible to ensure that the third commission draws up a bill shared by the parliamentary groups that takes into account our proposals.
