The Italian Hunting Union denounces Hon. Zanoni, the Director of Striscia la Notizia and Eduardo Stoppa, journalist. Zanoni, the latter accumulated, improperly and arbitrarily, the practice of capturing birds, for the use of live decoys (legitimate and provided for by national and European laws) with fowling, a practice prohibited and envisaged by the Law as a criminal offense. This fact, detrimental to the image and reputation of those who practice ars venandi, was even more serious as in the same service visual images were contextually reported in which mistreatment was shown to various species of birds, many of which protected and, Logically, for those who chew a bit of hunting, clearly and unreasonably, not usable as live calls (eg: an eagle).
Therefore, the logical and instrumental reason for citing and associating the world of hunting, in its various aspects (including the capture and detention of live calls for hunting purposes, it reaffirms required by law) was not found and is not found. to a criminal offense, such as fowling, committed by a person who is not a hunter but a poacher and therefore not necessarily equipped with a hunting weapon port. Immediately, given the facts, the Legal Department of the Syndicate was activated and all the trade associations (recognized and not) were contacted and invited to participate with us in a formal complaint against those who dishonored us. To date, none of them have become available.
The IVS acknowledges this and on its own, before the expiry of the legal terms, on 05.04.2014, it proceeded with a formal complaint / complaint, on the basis of Article 595 of the Criminal Code, paragraphs II and III, against the aforementioned and how many others the Judiciary will want to hold accountable.
