The provincial delegation of Brescia ofANUUMigrators has organized for the days of 13 and 15 May next a course to train retrieval dog handlers following the protocol established by the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA). The lessons will be held at the headquarters of the municipal section of Concesio of the same association. For registrations there will be time until next May 5th, to be precise when the maximum number foreseen is reached e with a minimum limit of 10 participants.
The participation fee (120 euros) includes the didactic material with which the various topics will be studied, the lessons with expert teachers and qualified and a day out for the practical exercise in the field. The teacher of this interesting course will be Giuliano Colombi, wildlife technician.
The current legislation on recovery of injured fauna during hunting provides that this activity takes place through the dog and the appropriate qualification of the handlers. The dog must also be in possession of the appropriate qualification, issued by a judge ENCI and to be renewed every two years. Furthermore, the rescued auxiliary must not renew five heads with positive results during the hunting season.
