Santo Stefano in Aspromonte, a village of ancient Roman origin in the province of Reggio Calabria, is about to host the The third edition of Wild Boar Festival, a gastronomic event that is now consolidating over time. The event has acquired a good resonance and this year it will take place Saturday October 21 2017. The meat of the ungulate will obviously be the undisputed star of the day.
With a single ticket of 10 euros, in fact, you can taste the succulent macaroni with wild boar sauceand, the wild boar stew with polenta (really tasty), the tasty braised sausage and the side dish of Aspromonte potatoes. There will be no lack of wine and bread, and it will also be possible buy the food prepared in the various stands, including roasted chestnuts, pancakes, pancakes, corn on the cob, freshly prepared ricotta, sausages, porchetta and various desserts.
