THEACMA (Association of Aquatic Migrant Hunters), sectoral of the Italian Federation of Hunting, met in Monte San Vito (province of Ancona) to elect the new regional delegate. Graziano Federici, the outgoing delegate, illustrated the research work carried out by the same association, in particular the one with satellite telemetry on the teal species which allows to have reliable data on the migration of this anatid.
The initiative has been known for some time and has registered one appreciation after another as regards its usefulness. As always, these data are transmitted to the scientific research office of Federcaccia and are then taken to the various commissions in order to legitimize the hunting calendars of the different regions, therefore, not only the Marche. The delegates unanimously reconfirmed as regional delegate Graziano Federici and elected the deputy delegate in the person of Massimiliano Nociaro of Civitanova Marche and the secretary Renato Venturi.
Present at the meeting were, among others, the president of the Regional Federcaccia of the Marche and the vice-president, Paolo Antognoni and Nazzareno Galassi who, in their speeches, thanked for the work done by the Marche Acma in defense of traditional hunts through the use of scientific data. A more than appreciated banquet concluded the assembly.
