The hunting associations ofEmilia Romagna gathered in the FERAVERI they welcome the acceptance of some of their proposals aimed at revising unnecessarily restrictive measures for hunters. Unfortunately, the position of the Region on the skylark remains unsatisfactory. We are pleased to learn that an amendment to the legislation regulating hunting activity in classified areas has been passed SIC and SPA Emilia Romagna which partially accepts the requests of the regional AVVs gathered in the FERAVERI (Italian Federation of Hunting, ANUU Migrationists, Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia), advanced at the time with a written document at the General Hearing and subsequently reaffirmed in numerous meetings with the competent Department until the last hearing in July 2018.
In particular, the question of timetables and the norm concerning the detention of lead shot and the relative distances from watercourses. A partial success. Unfortunately, in fact, we cannot say that we are fully satisfied, since we had raised the question of the closure of lark hunting in the sites subject to the particular protection regulations, remembering that unlike what happened with the old provincial regulations, today the species is protected. by a national plan (drawn up by the Ministry of the Environment) which concerns the whole national territory and which has been fully incorporated in the hunting calendar of the Emilia Romagna Region.
A transposition that would be strange had it not occurred, in light of the fact that the Region already applied these guidelines, which, moreover, inspired the national plan itself with Emilia Romagna, the leading region in its drafting. In a framework of improvement of the legislation compared to the initial resolution however, for the umpteenth time we have witnessed the overlapping of constraints and impeding positions that the scientific world has overcome in a more general comparison. A position that we cannot agree on and on which we will continue our confrontation with Region to represent, without ever being extraneous to fairness and general interest, what are the reasonable and sustainable demands of the hunting world.
