MyENCI is the application created byItalian National Dog-loving Body, a fundamental tool at the service of expert judges. Starting this year, in fact, thanks to the agreement between ENCI and the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), judges also play a very important role in terms of environmental protection.
The app is really very simple and allows you to transmit fauna data relevant during the dog trials, making the most of the important work of the dogs during the checks. MyENCI can be downloaded from any smartphone and its use must only take place during kinotechic tests. In practice, the mode consists of communication in advance dates and areas of activity to enable central data collection (for a specific day and site only).
For now it will not be usable for monitoring tests, such as the late summer one of reproductive success of the rock partridge or the winter one of the woodcock (we are however thinking of an experiment). The species involved are mountain galliformes (rock partridge, black grouse, ptarmigan, capercaillie, mountain francolin), in addition to woodcock, hares and other species on which the tests are carried out. The important thing is that it is natural game, while the app does not include partridges and pheasants.
