Jacob Piantini, Chairman of the provincial section of Arezzo dell'Enalcaccia, addressed all hunters of the Tuscan province with an official note. The restocking of hares has recently ended and has been implemented only in part with the distribution plans to the various municipalities of Aretino: the criteria have been defined as "incomprehensible and unequal" by Piantini, so much so as not to take into consideration the number of hunters and not even the huntable territory of a municipal reality rather than another.
The Management Committee ofTerritorial Hunting Area of Arezzo decided a month ago not to purchase pheasants for the repopulation of the spring period. The resolution was justified with the fact that breeders cannot provide recapture pheasants: consequently only farmed pheasants are available and the only negative vote was that of the Enalcaccia representative, who proposed to buy farmed animals in the absence of recapturing ones.
Hunters will have to make do with the restocking of 1200 partridges that will be distributed throughout the provincial territory: the president defined the management of the committee "inadequate, presumptuous and approximate".
