In anticipation of the opening of the next one hunting season 2020/2021 (starting date 3rd Sunday of September), in order to efficiently manage the requests for the issue / renewal of hunting licenses and therefore to avoid problems that would affect release times, it is extremely useful to provide some guidelines. First of all it is desirable that:
- Applications for renewal of both hunting and skeet shooting licenses are forwarded at least six months before their natural expiration, to the Offices of the Police Headquarters for residents in the city and near the Carabinieri stations territorially competent for residents in the province, in order to avoid delays, especially as regards hunting licenses, which are presented close to the hunting season.
- Licenses still valid may be held until their natural expiration date; in this case, a photocopy of the license itself must be attached to the new renewal application and a declaration in which the applicant undertakes to return the expired title upon receipt of the new license.
- Check that the documentation is complete, in particular it is necessary to verify that the photos are recent in consideration of the identification value of the license itself (legalization is not required).
- The diploma of suitability for the handling of long and short weapons has ten-year validity starting from the expiry date of the degree issued and not from the issue.
- Make sure that the payment of 1,27 €, corresponding to the cost of the passbook, is made on the cc 11360252 in the name of the Provincial Treasury of the State of Brescia (each province has its own postal current account number) and that the stamp of payment is shown.
- The receipt of the regional tax of 64,56 €, due for the hunting activity in the Region
Lombardia is NOT required as documentation to attach to the renewal application.
On the other hand, the payment of the government tax of 173,16 €.
