A little over a week ago, Sunday 18 February 2018, took place in Sedrina, in the province of Bergamo, the usual one annual meeting of hunters. In addition to the president of the local section of the Federcaccia, Franco Fustinoni, the number one of the provincial seat of Bergamo, Lorenzo Bertacchi, spoke candidates in the next regional elections. The commitment of Forza Italia, Lega and the Democratic Party concerned the dialogue between institutions and the territory, without forgetting the role of the hunter as a "sentinel of the environment".
One of the most interesting topics that was dealt with had to do with roccoli, a subject very dear to Fustinoni, a long tradition winder. The president underlined the commitment of the Municipality of Sedrina and the need to do restart the debate on what are real "green cathedrals". Fustinoni claimed that the roccoli are still exploited for the capture of presicci, thus meeting the needs of fixed postings.
The hope, therefore, is that the structures can still carry out theirs social role. In addition to the social lunch and the award ceremony for hunters who celebrated 50 years of hunting license, Elio Zanchi, former president of the hunters section of Bracca, was remembered. Stephen Micheli, mayor of Sedrina, concluded the day by noting the importance of hunters and recalling the April appointment of the walk to discover the roccoli: in this locality there are five.
