A few days ago a meeting was held between the national and regional leaders of the Campania of TRUST (Italian Federation of Sporting and Hunting Weapons Discipline) and the regional councilor Maria Ricchiuti on a proposal that provides for the exercise of sports dog and shooting in Campania parks without killing the game. The proposal was made by Massimo d'Ambrosio, regional number one of FIDASC Campania, and by another regional councilor, Antonino Abate.
It was proposed to the honorable Ricchiuti to allow dog sportsmen an extension of the areas in which to carry out their activities, also including the surface of the parks of the Campania Region. These are the activities related to pointing dogs, tracking dogs, archery and shooting with animal silhouettes, therefore, the involvement of game is never there, a detail on which we aim to obtain a positive result.
The goal is to transform this sport into a real one fly for local tourism. In the schools, then, a careful informative and cognitive activity would be started. FIDASC has promised the utmost commitment to take advantage of the opportunity, in compliance with the rules and alongside all hunting associations that want to be part of it.
