The hypothesis of the postponement touched upon the 2017-2018 hunting season in Emilia Romagna. The regional councilor for hunting, Simon Caselli, had been possibilist a few days ago, but during the Politics Committee of the Legislative Assembly yesterday, Wednesday 13 September, it was announced that there will be no slippage. The official opening was therefore confirmed, therefore Sunday 17 September 2017, after pre-opening almost two weeks ago.
In addition, the various restrictions for fire areas and areas must be respected Special Protection Areas. Caselli stressed that there is no insensitivity to environmental appeals: much more simply, the rains of early September have improved the weather conditions and hunting can start without problems, given that the drought has been overcome. Among other things, the Emilia calendar is very precise as regards the first two weeks of hunting.
In fact, on 17, 21, 24 and 28 September the hunting of sedentary fauna it will be admitted only until 13, while for the migratory it will arrive until sunset. Finally, the ban imposed on waterfowl is valid in beyond 95% of the wetlands of the whole region. Hunters from Emilia and Romagna can therefore breathe a sigh of relief and in three days they will be able to use their rifles.
